Dang, I've been gone and/or busy and/or away from the computer for a couple of weeks!
Between work, a roadtrip, Relay for Life and a minor surgery for Zoe (to have her girly parts removed), I've been missing my blog! Time for some updates...

Okay, now that we've all had our puppy fix....
So, last time, some time between midnight and about 3am, Zoe (who I have now nicknamed "The Weasel") launched herself out of bed and had herself some fun.
When I discovered this at 3am, I was NOT happy.
She, on the other hand, looked awfully pleased with herself.
As Jen said,"Clearly the tp was a danger to you and the house. Zoe was only protecting you!"
I think not.
I think she's just a weasel. ;-)

I think it might be time for a Zoe update, no? She's getting bigger every day - 9 pounds of flying fur and teething. I've been calling her Frankenpuppy as her baby teeth have been falling out one by one...

Someone had a REALLY good time when Grandpa and Mommy took her to Lake Monroe last week.
And yes, by the time we left, she was COMPLETELY soaked, head to toe!

So, I just looked back through my blog, and realized just how long I've been absent.
A while, apparently!
So, whatcha been doing, girl (other than raising a VERY demanding puppy)?!
Well, let's see...
Seeing a lot of sunrises (puppy has to go out VERY early in the morning!)...
Been enjoying how enamored Zoe and Grandpa are with each other...
Laughing (a lot!) during a playdate between Zoe and Carma, her only sister from the litter...
Laughing at a visit from the Easter Bunny at work...
Introducing Zoe to her cousin, Ziggy (Don and Michelle's new schipperke)...
Emceeing our wildly popular "Battle of the Books" at the library...
Mourning the loss of ANOTHER colleague at the library, Charles, who died in a tragic accident at his home, and dealing with the work fallout...
Planting lots of things in the ground around Sunnymeade with Dad's help...
Listening the splish splash of my new "water feature", which doubles as a puppy drinking fountain and shower. ;-)
And occasionally, marveling at rainbows...
